I've been a Royals fan all my life growing up in Kansas and followed the Braves ever since watching Dale Murphy as a kid and Maddox, Smoltz, and Glavine in the '90s.

I've been a Rockies fan since the franchise came to Colorado in 1993. Went through the glory days of the Blake Street Bombers, the lows of the early 2000's, and the recent runs of success.

Not a huge fan of the sport, but certainly not a hater...when I follow baseball, I enjoy the Giants (dad's a big fan even though he's from Oakland) and the Mariners....I have Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball to thank for that

Somehow I remain a Royals fan. It gets harder every year.

I grew up in KC the late 70's and 80's. I became a Royals fan in the late 70's and grew up idolizing Brett. My son wears #5 in baseball right now.

Cubs are the only other team I'll root for because I went to Chicago a lot of as a kid and my uncle took me to the games. And they haven't wont in forever.

Grew up wearing #5 like Brett, and tried my best to model my stance/game after him.

Unfortunately, based on my relatively young age, I have never seen a meaningful game involving the Royals my entire life. It really is quite depressing.

I moved to Kansas City 10 years ago, so I've really become a Royals fan despite all the losing. Prior to KC, I lived in Baltimore and had season tickets to the Orioles during their 90's heyday.

Now, baseball season is painful for me.
