  • "Wear Blue"

“I would like for them to make sure to wear blue, make sure they come to the game energized and be ready to go with some enthusiasm,” Gill said.

WTW's photoshop got me thinking about this quote from Gill. Are we really ever going to have a significant amount of blue in the crowd?

BTW we need to get that sniper on scholly & put him on the DL, dude is HUGE!)

    Re: "Wear Blue"

I will admit to being a nonconformist to the 100% blue rule. I think it is an absolute must versus red teams (corn, ISU, OU, Tech, etc) but when we are playing Mizzou if you want to wear red....go for it.

I am more on the "make some freaking noise" bandwagon. I'd take 3000 loud wearing red fans than 10,000 all blue silent fans.

I remember Freshman year, that blue shirts were like currency. The Athletic Department used to give them out like candy at any minor sporting event. I had like 12-15 by the end of the first semester.

Yes, I probably have like 20-30 free blue shirts from various events. And I don't think I have ever worn a single one of them. They all have too many fucking ads on them to wear around.

As for getting blue into the stadium...Its all on the old folks. The students are well over 90% blue. The west side and family zone though...probably around 50% at best.
