    I can't believe these guys can say they're doing the best things for the franchises with a straight face. There's no excuse for five losing seasons in a row, let alone the streaks that the Royals and the Pirates have put up.

      But don't worry, we have a nice taxpayer-funded ballpark with a carousel.

        KK is talking about Jackson County defaulting on their maintenance fees paid to Chiefs and Royals. Somewhere in the range of $14M/year. If documents leak on the Royals and them make tons of money pre-renovations, expect a renegotiation of those fees.
