Can't say I disagree but we seem to be on a ton of kids that are as good as Perry at the same position. I think the worry has been that he fancies himself a three a little too much.

I think the top kid in Kansas should be a Jayhawk, always. Bill Self can always get the ego in check when he comes to campus.

Don't care at all if we don't sign Perry because Bill uses the slot on an out-of-state kid that he likes more. The notion that we need to take even a well-regarded Kansas kid is antiquated and silly if the competing options make more sense. Taking the best local kid is more of a Shocker thing.

There's no way Perry will come to KU. He reads message boards and he sees all the ridiculous snobbery of KU fans constantly hating on Wichita and he hates you for it because he loves Wichita even more than I do. I hear that he eats a delicious breakfast bowl from Spangles every single day and you guys don't even have a Spangles anywhere near campus so that's a deal breaker sister.

I talked with the Steven family and they said they would put a Spangles in the Oread if Perry wanted to come to KU.
