This blows. We need to move to a conference with better revenues. Hell the SEC teams get like 24mil each and they all have their own local media contracts. Seriously, Ark gets more money than we do. Now I'm pissed

what's sad is that UT's bringing in 93 million a year in fucking football revenue, but is too fucking stingy to share conference revenue fairly

They try to do these reports, but there is no way to be fully accurate with them due to the Williams Fund. There is no way that the donations to the Williams Fund are calculated in these numbers. They can't because your donation to the Fund goes toward "all sports". There is no accurate way to tell how much a given sport actually brings in (really just football and basketball). Now, we all know the majority of donations to the Williams Fund are given so you can have better seats in AFH, but there are some donors who do it for football.

Therefore, you can't accurately distribute the revenues appropriately for a sport. And, that is a huge portion of KU Athletics income, if not the majority of it, that isn't even listed in this report.
