  • The 2011 NCAA Tournament

I hate Mizzoo more than is healthy, but they wuz robbed with an 11 seed.

Big 12 gettin' no respect from the committee. Texas A&M deserved a 5 or 6.

Shit, forget about that. How in the fuck is Colorado not invited? They've got a hell of a lot better resume than at least six of the "at large teams." Jeebus Christ, but the committe gave no respect whatsoever to the Big 12.

    I'm pissed.

No way Colorado should've been out when VCU, Michigan State and Georgia got in. No fucking way in hell.

Southwest is easily the toughest bracket. KU, Notre Dame, Louisville, Purdue, Vandy, Richmond, Texas A&M, Florida State and Georgetown. Jesus, that's a monster bracket.

None of those teams are in the Souteast region.

And the SW is not even in the top 2 of toughest regions.

West and East are easily harder than the SW.

How can we complain, we got 1/2 our conference teams in. Regular season is over, traitors be damned.

Not complaining at all. KU is better than all those teams. Just a casual observation.

Duke, imo, again got the softest bracket.

Have you even looked at the brackets?

Arizona and Texas probably the hardest 4/5 combo there is.
UCONN is a solid 3 seed.
SDSU is at home if they meet up in the Elite 8.
Michigan/Tennessee could be a pretty tough match up in the second round.

Lol at Michigan/Tennessee being a "tough matchup." Texas is playing like crap lately, not a serious threat to make the FF.

Zona is good and that's about it.

I'm not all aboard the UConn love train, like Digger and the ESPN mouths. Good enough team, but a fairly shitty resume.

You can't use Texas playing poorly right now to justify them being weak, but not apply the same formula to UConn with them playing well.

Hoopo, you're insane. East is the hardest by far, with the west with the 2nd toughest.

                            The Southeast is the easiest.

You claim georgetown is a horrible team to have in our bracket? They haven't been impressive lately. Yet you say it's a negative for Texas. Do you really think Texas is a 4 seed?

Texas isn't playing poorly. They were the hottest team around a month ago, like UConn is now. But as UT's resume is still more impressive than UConn's -- whose signature win prior to Wednesday was a 1 point home victory over Texas on January 8. UConn is hot, no question there and Texas is not. Still, UConn was about a 5 or 6 seed prior to the Big East Tournament. Texas was in the conversation for a 2 seed, and with damn good reasons.

So I'm saying that UConn is substantially over-seeded, thus making for an easier bracket. Hell, Mizzoo might take out tourney darlings UConn. And the likely Texas-Arizona tilt will be Tulsa's best game, and perhaps the best game in the tournament. Texas got screwed by that one.
