Story about a 2 star long snapper who had an offer from colorado state.

HUGE need. As many blamed our blocking scheme for blocked punts when often it was a result of our long snapper rolling the ball back to rojas.

His name is Tanner Gibas. He is waiting to sign with Colorado state or KU until after he visits KU on 2/11.

We didn't really "lose" anybody. We tried to get in late on a kid named Redden who was committed to Memphis. We almost swayed him, but at last minute he chose to stick to his commitment. His spurning of KU at last minute opened up a scholly offer for Daniel who was actually going to shock everybody by signing with another school. The staff did a great job saving that kid.

Overall A+ by the staff today. Very impressed. On paper this is every bit as good as Mangino's top classes. Congrats to them.

After being incredibly disappointed on gameday this year, Gill has exceeded my expectations for recruiting. I am really pleased. Now he's got to develop these guys. But I agree this is probably a very good start.

The fact that he did it after Mangino's flop and the turd he laid last season is even more incredible. Dude must be very very convincing.

So we only lost Lynn to ISU in the last few weeks correct? I knew we were trying for Redden (DT correct?) for a few weeks, but wasn't there another DT we were pushing for?
