Clemons is a tough third act to follow. A faceplant after a preseason #3 is pretty epic, but doesn't beat Rickey and all the timeless hilarity that went with Mike Alden picking Quin over Bill Self.

Defintely Snyder was the biggest trainwreck for their program based on expectations alone.He was supposed to be the second coming of Mike Kyczycgasdkljmka;sdm';'ski. Martin was simply a guy that was to hold down the fort from a recruiting angle and turned out to be a pleasant surprise for them. Ironically, it's looking like Martin is going to leave it the smoking hole that Huggins was supposed to nuke.

Lest we forget, Quin Snyder was a McDonald's All American. Point guard at Duke. Larry Brown's son in law. Coach K's heir apparent. And at the end, the only person who had something good to say about him was Ricky Clemons.

Frank Martin went from crooked high school coach to, well, restoring the shine in The Little Apple. Even if just for a little while. I'm not sure it's his fault they're reverting to the mean.
