  • Anyone up for a different kind of Fantasy Football League?

This is a keeper league, with one catch. each player has 4 years of eligibility. To start the league, we'd have a auction style draft of all players in their first four years in the league. Like college, a 4th year player is called a senior, etc etc. You can redshirt guys just like in college, provided they don't play for your team (they could still play for their nfl team) guys can get medical redshirts.

every year the draft, or recruiting, is an auction style of all the rookies as well as any eligible players who have not been signed yet.

So you could only draft guys that have been out of college a couple years? So you lose most all the star players?

Sounds very interesting, but too complicated for me.

yea the initial draft would only be guys in their first for years of the nfl, including this season, so starting QBs are at a premium. it makes it really interesting scouting guys before they even make it to the nfl, it also makes the preseason interesting as it gives you a chance to evaluate guys who may be a year or two out from contributing.
