CarGo has apparently signed a 7 Year extension worth $80 Million despite being a Boras client.

It looks like they learned from the Matt Holliday deal and realized that the best way to win is to lock down the big talent and build around them. Now hopefully Gonzalez keeps hitting the way he did last season.
