  • 6 pts, 9 asts, 6 rebounds, 12 fouls, 6 TOs

combined from Tyshawn, Brady, Releford and EJ.

I can't decide in my head who played the worst.

    Brady played worse.

He plays for his D. And it was nowhere to be found.
And he plays for his leadership. It was on display with the ball flip Tech he got. Fucking idiot.

Brady and EJ were both were equally bad. The difference between the two was that Brady got a stupid technical. EJ chucked a 3 that probably shouldn't have been shot.

Releford looked lost every second of the game that he was in. I don't see why he started the last two games, and his lines in both were pathetic.

Anyway, it is clear that Selby is eating into EJ and Brady's minutes which is fine with me.

Releford needs to get going. He's disappeared in December.

I missed the first 7 minutes of the 1st half, but EJ looked the worst to me. He was never in control.

And while I don't think BM needs to be playing a lot, I don't fault him for tipping that ball, the dude threw and elbow and the refs didn't even review it.

I think for Morningstar you have to see how the guys he guarded did. I don't think he's the end all be all but he knows his role and plays it. I think the same can be said for Releford and Reed. They don't try to do too much.

BM won't play a lot against certain teams. His guy can blow right past him if he's athletic. BM is a smart bball player but is limited athletically.

Agreed for the most part. He's a pretty good perimeter defender but I also don't think it's all his fault on the drives he gives up. I certainly don't want to sound like a BM apologist but our post players have not done a great job in help. It's chaos under the basket. The last few years we've had the benefit of funneling players into Cole. I just think we're now seeing what happens when we don't have a position wise post presence (exceptional).

Brady is a good perimeter defender when he is guarding a bigger slower guy that can shoot. When he has to guard a quick small guy that can drive and get into the lane he gets killed. Its just a match-up thing. He should play more when guarding a bigger guy, and play a lot less when the other team is smaller.

To me Releford hasn't looked the same since he got chewed out while killing it in Vegas. He was in the flow and was maybe shooting a little too much, but he was playing well.

Bill got on him for shooting too quickly, and not running the offense.
BIG difference between shooting to much (he wasn't) and shooting to quickly (what Bill was mad about). Bill got on him. Ever since then he has looked pretty timid on the offensive end. Afraid to shoot because he'll get in trouble. Its a lot like the mentality Brady has. And it costs us.

Somehow Bill has got to get him to understand that the shooting isn't the problem. Its the shooting so fast thats a problem.

Vegas was the only time in his two years that I have been excited about his play. The rest of the time he's just been meh.
