    Is a problem.

    Re: Free Throw Shooting

True, but I feel like its improving. Without TRob's 1-7 (which he still got 4 points off of) the 'Hawks hit 71%, which is pretty good.

I believe TRob is hitting ~60%...which is a hellofa lot better than where he was at last year.

And why do we selectively take players out? If we don't count the shtty free throwers, we are great.

I only took out one, who was the outlier. TRob was having an unusually crappy FT shooting day so ignoring his stat allowed us to look at the rest of the group's stat. Other than Marcus, who as a leader should have a higher percentage, I think we shoot decently.

These are the ft% from our top 10 scorers. This is not an outlier situation. This is a PROBLEM.

Damn, Thomas is shooting worse than I thought. He and Withey need to improve if they want to become effective bigs. We'll see how they improve this week and through the break.

                Re: Free Throw Shooting

I'm going to give it a little time before I make a judgement. Self has all week to get to the players. Marcus and Taylor, who attempt the majority of our free throws, are shooting below their career averages. As long as they pick it up before conference play, I'm not terribly worried.

If we take out the misses, we are at 100%. What's the issue?

Pretty sure that BS said he wasn't going to focus on FT's

that they would definitely practice, but they weren't going to give it a ton of attention

correct me if I'm wrong on that one
