numbers wise i don't think he will be those two people, our system won't allow them to be like calipari's will, but it's very possible he has the skill of wall/rose. It's a wait and see at this point.

I think you guys are going to be pleasantly surprised.

Skill wise he's probably the best scoring guard KU has had in my lifetime (I'm 30)

What if he sucks? I mean, what if he can't make the adjustment to college play, doesn't gell with teammates, has attitude problems, gets in Self's doghouse for sloppy defense, etc.

Are we prepared to hang the "overrated" albatross around his neck?

The kid will score 30 in some game and everyone will be :jerkoff: ing it hard and expect it all the time.

Also, he probably won't even start for 2-3 games.

But, myself, I'm cool with double figures scoring and 4-5 assists.

I don't think Self's system will ever allow a guy to average 30 pts/gm. He may have a game or two when he scores 30 or close too it.. But what he adds to the teams overall speed and athleticism is what makes him such an important addition. The guy can break his defender down off the dribble and get to the basket and finish.. Thats what this team lacks right now. Taylor and Selby gives us two guards capable of breaking down a defense with dribble penetration.
