Epic 3 Year, 3 City Event: Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State

Starting in 2011.

The first Champions Classic is set for Madison Square Garden in New York, with Duke facing Michigan State and Kentucky meeting Kansas on Nov. 15, 2011.

Year 2 at the Gerogia Dome in Atlanta will see Michigan State vs. Kansas and Duke vs. Kentucky on Nov. 13, 2012. The third event, Nov. 12, 2013 at the United Center in Chicago, will have Michigan State playing Kentucky and Kansas playing Duke.

Too bad it isn't a little tournament every year.

Somehow Kstate isn't invited to these things?

This is fantastic news! This is why I love College Basketball. You can play a few great teams, maybe take a few losses and it won't kill your season. You'd never see a football matchup of this caliber.

I have to admit I was getting a little jealous of other programs having huge marquee games this early in the season and us having a bunch of snoozers. Granted, we tried with half of the Pac 10 and Michigan, but they didn't hold up their end of the bargain.

Yes.. We could play Duke in Maui!! Two Bluebloods on our ooc schedule in the same year is fantastic.. A guaranteed 3 year schedule that involves MSU, Kentucky, and Duke is fantastic news.
