Prince Fielder is on the trade market now, Zach Greinke is being coveted by Toronto and the Rangers among other teams, Carl Crawford is a favorite to land with the Angels, as is Rafael Soriano.

More and more it seems he will drag this out, this story being the latest indication:

      http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angele...ory?id=5897188

If this lasts past the winter meetings, all teams need to move forward onto their Plan B's.

The Rangers are looking to move Michael Young so they can free up money for Lee.

Edit: Forgot to say, they are discussing this mostly with the Rockies, a team that is NOT on Young's No-Trade list.

Edit 2: The Rangers tell Young that they aren't trading him. I'm guessing that means they aren't going to pursue Beltre anymore.

Now word out of FL is the Rangers have moved on from Greinke and are actively pursuing Garza. Cubs signed Carlos Pena to a 1 year/$10MM deal. A little expensive, especially for a guy who had a career-worst year but it's worth a shot. He had planter fasciaitis last year so hopefully this year he's better.

The Nationals are on to Lee now.

Also hearing that the Rockies are preparing to make a run at Greinke. Not sure why, but it would explain some of the weird stockpiling they've been doing.

Rangers/Rockies, Royals, and Marlins are working on a deal that will send Greinke to Florida. Marlins are apparently looking at two different 3 team trade scenarios. One scenario would send Greinke to Florida and Nunez to Colorado. Nolasco was also brought up in the discussions.

JFC. Apparently the Young trade is back on? I can hardly keep up with this now.

Rangers interest in Rockies OF prospect Charlie Blackmon as part of a Michael Young trade.

That's a good signing if it's true, right about where it should be.

Are we going to see a contract at the Kevin Brown / Dodgers level (in terms of being unprecidented at the time)?
