  • I know nothing about Memphis.

Has anyone seen them play? Are we in trouble?

I'm looking forward to a good game, but if we play like we did against UCLA, I am afraid we will be in trouble.

I'm in the same boat as you....but...considering that the last two teams we played that had a pulse gave us a run for our money

I predict that it will be way closer than we'd like

I'm going to predict we lose by like 5.

So, Wolfshirt, if we lose who do we nominate to lead the charge of the meltdown?

Everyone knows a good meltdown would drive traffic here.

Oh gawd I hope this doesn't happen on this site. I avoided the BB forum on TOS like the plague because of all the batshit crazy idiots. Trying to sift through all the nonsense to find something rational just wasn't worth the effort.

The only thing I know about Memphis is that they are in Tennessee and I think we might have played them in some important game a couple of years ago.

We need a loss to get some issues straightened out.

But I think we'll out-talent them and win by 9.

I can't imagine a meltdown after that mess of a game with UCLA.

If it happens, I'll shrug and say "Well, I hope the KU coaches get some educational material out of the loss."

UM will be down 2 with just seconds left on the clock. They'll foul Elijah Johnson who will hit the front end but will choke on the FT to ice it. UM advances the ball up the floor where Wesley Witherspoon will hit a miraculous trey from the top of the key at the buzzer to send it to OT. The Tigers will pull away in OT and go home with a W.

                    Hey, it could happen. :shades:

No, Bill Self will instruct his team to foul, he's currently known as a good coach. :dirtybird:

Only with less than 5 seconds on the clock.

Yeah, that, or we'll just forget like when we're playing Syracuse and Johnny Flynn in Kansas City.
