Looks like the mad Russian has a knee injury.

He'll be state-side to get the operation.

Update: Just got word from my friend that he was originally told six months, but got a second opinion from the Cav's staff.

My understanding is Sasha is going to wait a little bit before coming to the NBA. His contract with Moscow is too big for them to buy out right now.

Isn't there some rule the team can only pay $500,000 of a buy-out? The player has to pay the rest?

There was some problem like that for Rubio and I'm hazy of the details.

He was at game last night and using crutches. I believe he's had his surgery.
