Re: KU's games to ALL be nationally televised
Just read this article on NBC. looks like all 31 games are going to be on TV. :mexican
LAWRENCE, Kansas - You’ll be able to see every KU basketball game this season. The six-time defending Big 12 conference champions will have all 31 of its regular season games on national television.
“Ever since I have been at Kansas, year in and year out we rank in the top five nationally in strength of schedule and this season is no different,” Kansas head coach Bill Self said. “Our league will be as strong as ever and the non-conference games really showcase some national powers. The TV exposure we get goes right back to the scheduling, the great tradition at Kansas, the great fans we have and the players.”
Kansas plays 21 games against teams from BCS conferences. The Jayhawks have the nation’s longest active home-court winning streak at 59 games. The school record is 62 set from 1994-98. KU is the only school in the Big 12 to have a winning series record against every Big 12 conference team in men’s basketball.
KU returns two starters, Marcus Morris and Tyshawn Taylor, from last year’s team that went 33-3 and lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament
