Dana's an awesome guy...met him once upon a time...

Him turning down 10 grand to stay honest doesn't surprise me one bit at all

I'm surprised Keyshawn turned it down though

"It was rare to find a player who wouldn't take the money. I put $10,000 cash in front of Kansas's Dana Stubblefield, and he wouldn't take it. I tried to pay UCLA's J.J. Stokes and USC's Keyshawn Johnson, and they said, "No." But for every kid who didn't take the money, there were dozens who called me and asked to get paid."

Not really surprising, but still amazed at how much goes on beyond the fields and classrooms with college athletes.

The first ex-agent to go on the record saying he payed players over the course of 20 years. Yet the NCAA continues to act like this is something new and terrible in college athletics.
