  • What do you want to see Pick do this Friday?

Personally, I like the idea of using Pick in our offense...right now, I think I'd like to see a little less, just until Webb gets his feet under him

I thought there were, and I know some agree, an occasion or two where Pick came in and kinda broke up Webb's momentum

    What are your thoughts?

    Win the damn game.

I don't care if that means him sitting on the bench or playing 90% of the snaps.

Well, i think W/L depends on how he's used

      disagree?

well whatever they did last week seemed to work, so why not try that again.

          Somewhat.

I don't think we need him at all to win. However, I think we can win with him playing.

I am so confused by this team that I selected use him the exact same way. It worked. If we are up by a margin, then maybe we can choose to experiment with him a bit.

I'm not sure I liked the way the QB situation has been handled in either game.

If the game is in doubt, I'd go with Webb. But if there's any breathing room one way or another, I'd like to see Pick get more snaps than last week. We still don't really know what we have with him.

My biggest problem was when we brought him in against GT, it was primarily to run the ball. I say we give him a chance to chuck it around a little, even if its just to keep the defense honest.

Oh, I fully agree that we can win with him playing...I love having that option

I just don't necessarily want to see him if it'll disrupt Webb's momentum...he's gonna be a weapon down the road I feel like

I think it is ok to mix it up a bit to make the other team game plan for two players. There really shouldn't be a doubt for the players who the leader of the team is-- it has to be Webb.

I guess if we use him, we may want to at least look to pass with Pick to keep the defense honest.

I have no problem with using Pick and Webb. I DO have a problem with bringing Pick in on the very first play of the next offensive possession followly a touchdown. IIRC, this happened twice on Saturday. Why immediately go away from what has been working?

I'll disagree. I think he should seldom throw it. Everyone knew he had wheels and a huge arm before this year. He got to start the first game adn showed his reaction time for checkdowns and his accuracy aren't as good as Webb's.

Honestly I think he would be a valuable weapon. Let them both play at the same time. Pitch it to Pick and let him throw it. Granted it is a little early to get cute, but it is an option we have. What I DON'T want is to pigeon hole Pick into the run. If he runs every time he gets the ball it wont take long for defenses to pick up on that. At the same time, if we are going to have him throw the ball then we need to set him up for success. If every throw is rushed and incomplete defenses will pick up on that just as fast.
