My main man, Lew Perkins is going down hard, hard, hard. Rodney singing like a canary.

Indictments coming soon....

1) Huge kickback from Adidas contract not reported in any compensation or tax reporting.
2) Massive amounts of missing funds from the Gridiron project.

I just can't imagine getting paid that much money and still feeling the need to pilfer and receive kickbacks. This info is very reliable. You can believe it or not. Its ugly.

Chancellor received same information....that is why Lew was sent packing.

Which Gridiron project are you referring to? The new Anderson complex and Kivisto Field, or the Gridiron Club that never got off the ground? I wouldn't think the Gridiron Club ever really had any funds to begin with, so it would be difficult to take anything.

Gridiron Club....which apparently did have funds to kick it off.

Conjecture on my part- It cost money to do mock-ups, design, artist work, etc.

Is this information coming from the same source REALLY, REALLY close to the KU AD, rich people above and beyond the common mortal on bulletin boards, that said the Mangino buyout FOR SURE would be 2.4 million; then [tt]FOR SURE[/tt] it was going to be 4.2 million, then [glow=red,2,300]FOR SURE[/glow] it would be 1.6 million?

If this indictment was coming, how does Lew get a year's pay between now and 2011? Wouldn't Bernadette have cause to fire him in that case and not have to pay him a dime?

That is actually a great question. One I asked as well. The answer maybe (read: me guessing here) that Lew doesn't have that check yet and it is contingent upon release of FBI investigation.

Any other school would do whatever it took to keep this stuff from getting out. Take care of it, clear out the bad seeds, and move on. Now, we have public perception to deal with, which WILL effect recruiting, donations, etc. Wonderful news! Whether you like "chainsaw" or not, this isn't good.
