I don't know why, but it just weirds me out whenever I watch and see they have cheerleaders. There's nothing really WRONG with it, it's just... odd.

I have to agree...it's just not something I picture as being something any of those females would choose to do while they are vying to make their way into what is still very much a male-oriented career. Yet they do it. All of the service academies have requirements for participating in extracurricular sporting activities; I'd be willing to bet that cheerleading satisfies that requirement.Comment
