Lol. Despite 5 turnovers 50+ points is a win w most defenses. Gotta control ball, score AND not turn it over w that D. Maybe Berry will help

Only 1 of those turnovers was truly on him , maybe 2 if you count the one that bounced off the lineman into the defenders arms as he probably should't have tried to throw thru there, but that was a fluke lucky play similar to Mariota's pass to himself in the playoffs last year. I never blame a QB for getting strip sacked from the blind side. He got hit as he threw the Peters interception. The last one was just a bad decision that he'll learn from.

            Waylp.

Video footage published Friday shows Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt shoving and kicking a woman in a hallway. The video of Hunt, obtained and published by TMZ Sports, is related to a February 2018 altercation on an early Saturday morning at The Metropolitan at the 9, Hunt’s hotel apartment in downtown Cleveland. Police were called and a report was previously made, but video footage was not available until it was published by TMZ.

In the video, Hunt is seen coming out of a room and talking to a woman off camera. When she approached him, he shoved her. When another man came out of the hotel room and tried to intervene, Hunt continued to lunge toward the woman. As more people came into the hallway, Hunt had to be restrained several times as he made advances toward the woman and other people. At one point, he appeared to knock two people over with a shove, including the woman he initially shoved. At the end of the video, Hunt kicks the woman as she’s crouched on the ground.

The Chiefs have not commented on the video, and the NFL did not take any action against Hunt after the altercation was reported to police in February. No charges have been filed stemming from the altercation, which occurred on Feb. 10, but two police reports were created.

Wow. Listening to people describe the kick you would have thought she was balled up on the floor and he wound up and kicked her hard enough to break every rib in her body. I heard the word “brutalized” used.

That might be the most overblown kick I’ve ever seen.

Meh. Looks like some drunk whore was trying to force her way into his apartment. And she gave as good as she got. I also don't like that many reporters are referring to it as "domestic violence" - if she didn't live there and there was no relationship between them, then it's just regular ol' violence. If that was a dude trying to get into Hunt's apartment and this went exactly the same way, this wouldn't be much of a story.

Aaaaand the Chiefs just released Hunt.

The Chiefs have released star running back Kareem Hunt, a decision that came after video surfaced earlier Friday that showed him shoving a woman in February.

The team announced the move Friday night. Minutes earlier, the NFL had announced that Hunt had been placed on the commissioner's exempt list.

"Earlier this year, we were made aware of an incident involving running back Kareem Hunt," the Chiefs said in the statement. "At that time, the National Football League and law enforcement initiated investigations into the issue. As part of our internal discussions with Kareem, several members of our management team spoke directly to him. Kareem was not truthful in those discussions. The video released today confirms that fact. We are releasing Kareem immediately."

My fault; The Chiefs traffic here has been so minimal that I figured the Mahomes thread was the season thread since it had been posted to most recently.

To keep the conversation going, though, the Chiefs are a billion-dollar company; Either they saw the video before the TMZ story broke and figured it wouldn't go public or they went out of their way not to see it. Either is bad.

It's pretty clear now, the Chiefs or the NFL spent much time investigating this incident. KHunt said in his interview on Sunday, nobody from the NFL even interviewed him. NOBODY! That should have been the absolute minimum they did and to completely dismiss the story, is criminally ignorant. At least the Chiefs talked to him about the incident, but of course his answers were lies.

This is how one site graded the pick of Mahomes
                              10. Patrick Mahomes, QB Texas Tech — Kansas City Chiefs (from Buffalo)

                              GRADE: C-

Analysis: Calling Mahomes a project is a major understatement. He’s nowhere near ready to play in the NFL. And, honestly, he may never be. Between his inconsistent accuracy due to poor mechanics, his tendency to bail from clean pockets and his lack of field vision, he’s going to leave as many big plays on the field as he creates. This was a risky pick.
Proof again that having a website doesn't make you an expert.
