Why do all the KU message boards suck?

They are all terrible, including this one.

1. Phog.net. Initially, it was like early Letterman. Underground. Edgy. Funny. Fun. Now it's like new Letterman. Corporate. Stale. An old joke played 1,000 too many times.

2. The Slant. Fuck The Slant.

3. The Shiver. Thought it might have potential, but lacks critical mass. Very few interesting posters. But Tad is there.

4. kusports.com. Honestly, this one might be #1 right now, despite it's ridiculous, circa 1995 layout.

5. And then there is this site. Too many similar posters all trying to outdo each other. Too many chics that think they are funny...just one of the guys...but aren't (tonight's chat reaffirmed this notion). See Sarah Silverman.

I'm not sure where I should go. But I know one thing: I will continue to suck wherever I go.

And yes, KU boards suck. But there are degrees of suck. Who would want to be part of the stepford wives style at Incy or Duke? Who would want to be the psycho inbreds at Kentcuky? Our willingness to tolerate the strange voice is good. Perhaps even edgy? As edgy as a nerdy internet board can be......
