this is from LONG ago...is she having sex or is she just out of breath from running?! I had never heard this, it was on a podcast that I picked up from back in January 2009 and this chick is hot

That sigh at the end wasn't really a sexual one; it seemed out of frustration that the broadcast was getting cut short or that she knew she'd botched the piece.

I recognize that phenomenon immediately, as it happened to me a few times in my 19 year broadcasting career. I called it "swallowing my breath." Basically she got a case of stage fright. Her breathing is out of sync with her speaking and she's trying to force the issue, making the issue worse. She needs about five long, steady deep breaths to regain her composure. Problem is, when the "whole world" is listening, you freak out a lot, which intensifies the situation exponentially.
