  • Mostly Harmless

A while ago, I came across this article on Wired. It was a fascinating story about an unsolved death. Whereas many unsolved deaths are the what or where, in this case it was the who. A man in this day and age that had no discernible internet footprint.
The man on the trail went by “Mostly Harmless." He was friendly and said he worked in tech. After he died in his tent, no one could figure out who he was.

Today, the author has followed up that they’ve solved it. It took a long time, a lot of sharing pictures and stories, and some good old fashioned DNA evidence. It’s a bit of a sad story, and will probably make a good podcast someday. But definitely worth the read. Do yourself a favor and read the first article before getting into this one.
