I've got it dual booting with Windows on one machine and it's brother Mint on another.

I have it running as a server at home. Are you using it for desktop or server purposes?

desktop on my netbook, just use it to browse the web.

Linux has really improved their interface in the last 10-15 years. I remember the old versions....

I have Kubuntu 10.04 on my desktop. I thought I would nerd out over the KDE window manager, but I think I like Gnome better. I'll probably go back to Ubuntu on the October release.

I've thought about picking up a cheapo netbook and installing the ubuntu netbook version. What are the specs on your netbook?
