Oh these guys don't do theatre movies. Check out this list, and I think you'll recognize some of their movies from the pile of "SciFi Channel Originals" that currently reside on the bargain rack.

Here's the funny thing, though. I already did think of a plausible sequel to Titanic ten years ago. Just tell another group of people's stories from the night of the original sinking. Maybe put Leonardo and Kate in the background, or pay them handsomely for some cameos. Or get Billy Zane to be a supporting cast member, reprising his role from the first one.

This thing though, it's like an Irwin Allen movie. But Irwin Allen had one thing these people obviously don't understand, or more likely, can't afford: star power. Those F list actors with CGI waves aren't going to get many butts in the theater seats.
