You did know that London was a Socialist?

Yes sir I did. I read call of the wild, and white fang when I was a boy, long before I had any political leaning. I like to appreciate talented individuals regardless of politics if possible, of course that is easier when the person is dead. I read that quote many years ago, and just loved it. Here is his full credo:

I would agree that that is a great quote by London. I also agree that you can appreciate someone regardless of politics. For example, James Woods has done some genuinely good things on twitter since returning. Politically, we're still polar opposites but there's nothing wrong with that.

“Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone.”

“If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.”

“That would be a good thing for them to cut on my tombstone: Wherever she went, including here, it was against her better judgment.”

“A hangover is the wrath of grapes.”

“She runs the gamut of emotions from A to B.”
(This was from a review panning a stage performance of Katherine Hepburn)
