  • Documentaries

I'm looking for some new docs to watch.

    What you got?

Best one I have seen in awhile:

    Overnight.

It is about the dude who wrote Boondock Saints and his narcissistic hubristic fall.

Downloading Grizzly Man and Touching the void. Have seen the others. I didn't get as much from Man on Wire as many others did. I really enjoyed Dogtown.

For me, Touching the Void is maybe one of the more intense movies I've ever seen. I can't even begin to imagine that shit.

Agree wholeheartedly. During and after watching Touching the Void was the most I've wanted to smoke a cigarette since quitting a few years ago.

Echo the Dogtown and Kong recommendations. Haven't seen any of the others listed.

"Dear Zachary" is the saddest one I've seen.

The usual suspects are all great of course: Murderball, King of Kong, Man on Wire, Spellbound, Word Wars, Street Fight, Hoop Dreams, etc.
