Why do they turn rational, good people into crazy, stressed being? And why don't men setup protests/interventions at all jewelry shows? It should be like the good old days. Go to the justice of the peace, trade some goats, and call it good.

Nothing like calling a close relative less than 2 weeks out to tell them that their kids were not part of the invite because the bride is going for a theme. Not a space issue, but a theme issues.

I can't wait for the open bar and Hawaii.

That's why we got married on the beach in Carmel, CA. Just had 15 of our closest friends and my wife's mom and sister there. Then we went up to the Forge in the Forest (one of our haunts) and treated everyone to dinner and an open bar. Totally chill and stress free.

I'm with you. I've had dental appointments that were more fun than mine and some of my friends' weddings--especially the Catholic ones.
