In N Out is like Smashburger or Five Guys. Good, fast food, depending on your tastes. Most people cream their jeans over it because it's unavailable save for the left coast. Once they pop up everywhere it will be successful but lose it's appeal. Their claim to fame has always been local, fresh ingredients-namely their meat is prepared locally.

Exactly. I remember when KC got a few 5 Guys and the first couple of times I ate there I thought it was amazing. Lately, I've been there once every few months or so but it's really no better than most other burgers.
