Coyotes

With the weather warming it seems as if the coyotes are moving into our neighborhood more and more. This morning there was one in our backyard that ran off when the dogs barked. Does anyone know if I can legally shoot them if they're on my property in Kansas?

Dunno about the law in Kansas, but there is no season on coyotes in KY. You can hunt/shoot them year 'round. I assume you're not in the city limits, which would impact the situation even more.

I realize this has no bearing whatsoever on your situation, just thought I'd share.

In the city, no you can't. If you are outside city limits you are good to do whatever you want.

I'd imagine in any state with agriculture, it's open season all year round.
