Was in high school and college during the 90s--didn't watch TV on any Friday night that I can remember, but Step by Step reruns were on at some point during the late Sunday night/early Monday morning gauntlet of Fox reruns my junior year of college. Sunday nights involved pot, the couch, and the TV. It was on after Xena, Sinbad, and a couple of other shows of that ilk. So I guess SbS by default. Port Washington is a nice town.
4. Don't know who Hank is, but Mulder is pretty cool I guess.
5. Rendezvous by Claude Lelouch. Let it load completely, turn up the volume, and watch in fullscreen mode.
