There's a piece of foreclosed property that I'm interested in buying, but I can't get the idiot realtor listed on it to communicate with me. Anyone know if I can sidestep this fool and go to the lender directly?

If it's a listed foreclosure, there's is probably a contract on it and the realtor is just ignoring calls. How long has it been on the market?

About 30-days. It was out on the Fannie Mae site and I assumed it might be gone.

You can contact ANY realtor about the property, you don't have to go through the listing agent.

Key in the address at Realtor.com or another listing site and check the status. It's a longshot that they've updated the status (realtors aren't the most proactive people). It may say "show for backups" or "contract pending". Chances are it still shows as active and you won't know anything more than you do now.
