yeah, call sprint customer service and tell them your battery exploded
T-mobile sent me a new battery after using that excuse....HTC batteries are slender and easily stored on one's person....iPhone nerds convienently forget how easy it is to switch a battery on an android phone when they rag on battery life -

this thing is perfect for work. I have it setting between my laptop docking station and my monitor. That way it is easy to get to.Comment

Hey Evolve, how exactly did you describe your battery's "explosion" to the T-Mob customer service person? Did you have insurance? Why didn't they just have you send the entire phone back?
I'd like to learn this little trick.
The G2 has a very good battery life after two months of heavy use. Still holds up for a busy eight hours or so, unless I'm actually talking on the phone, which I don't do often.Comment

Told them the phone quit working, and I opened the back battery cover to do a battery pull
when I did, there was a big crack on the battery and some fluid was oozed out
said it didn't get on the phone itself and I cleaned it off the battery door, but I'd like a replacement battery sent to me asap please (make sure not to do this while ON your t-mobile phone, turn the thing completely off lol, never know if you get a smart rep).
5 days later I had a battery in the mail.
Bought a charging station that has a slot for an extra battery, and viola...
been great for disney world, I haven't had to worry about even trying to conserve battery life, just change out in the middle of the day
I wouldn't even have to do this if I didn't rely on google voice for my text messaging, as Juice Defender does wonders for my battery life, but delays receiving textsComment
