During my college years, I went from The Bull to The Wheel to The Crossing to Johnny's to The Sandbar to The Yacht Club as I went through the years.

Now when I visit, I'm totally cool with just hanging out at Free State.

Having only recently turned 21 I'm not terribly familiar with Lawrence bars, but I do like Free State.

Nope. Never felt the need to go to the expense when it was just easier to get someone to buy for me.

It was Moon Bar until some dude decided to use my head for target practice with a brick. I stabbed him in the leg, but things got a little fuzzy after that. To this day, I still wish I knew who he was.

You never wanted to try getting into a bar? The ease of getting into Lawrence bars with a fake was huge part of undergrad. Ah, the memories.

I may be in the minority, but by the time I was 21 I was already well versed in the Lawrence bar scene.

And it isn't about convenience of getting booze.
