  • Fuck You BlackBerry.

    Seriously.

My phone was working great 20 minutes ago. Full charge and everything. I check twitter to catch up on the Jim Tressel BS. Close the phone, put it back in my pocket. Pull it out MINUTES later, and it's fucking dead. I try to turn it on, the little red light comes on for a few seconds and then goes off. Every few minutes it does the same thing. Black screen, little red light saying "HAHA FUCK YOU, YOUR NEW PHONE DOESN'T SHIP FOR 3 WEEKS."

Oh, and this had to happen on the day where I can't go out and get a new battery anywhere. Just in case that is magically the solution. Plugging it into the wall does nothing. Haven't downloaded anything for weeks, and I haven't upgraded the OS since the desktop manager doesn't work with a Mac.

    Seriously. Fuck this phone.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

I should point out that this sucks, but not surprising. This phone is a piece of shit and has been for about 6 months. It's always nice to have a phone that randomly reboots itself throughout the day (a process that takes at least 5 minutes) and when something bad happens, the default customer service answer is "Take out the battery and put it back in."

                Re: Fuck You BlackBerry.

                Jesus Christ.

So I went into the Alltel store today to get my phone fixed. The lady tries a new battery, different chargers, and everything, plugs it into the computer, nothing. So she goes to look up the earliest time I was set to get a new phone to see if they could have given me a free one until my AT&T phone ships in February. I'm not eligible till January 17th. So I have to file an insurance claim on the phone, and they will send me a new BlackBerry. So she pulls up the insurance that I bought for the phone.

                NINETY FUCKING FIVE DOLLAR DEDUCTIBLE.

For the same shit phone that just died on me.

Oh, and but first the lady tried to say I got the phone wet, even though the phone's water indicator was clean. Apparently, the phone I purchased was shipped with a battery that had a bad water indicator.

So I basically will have a $100 rental [s]phone[/s] piece of shit until February 17th.

                Thanks Alltel. Fuck you.
And Fuck you too BlackBerry. In the ass. And no. No lube. None. At. All.
