  • Ghost Cities in China

There's been a lot of talk about this in the last year or so:

Not surprising. There is a lot of empty development there.

Do they have plans for all of that or are they just building to keep building?

Chinese housing bubble. Something that could knock them back with us in regards to the recession and slow GDP. It will be interesting to watch.

The saddest thing.....the US is probably funding nearly all of that.

A university designed for 2.3 million students :wow:

With only only 11K enrolled :rolling: :runaway:

          Interesting videos here.

This reminds me of the Brasilia debacle. When you build cities out in the middle of no where, the only people that end up staying around are the work crews. Slums develop, followed closely by poverty and crime.

It was interesting to see they were building cities in the middle of the desert. Unless you are Stalin, people are going out there to live.

                    A plus.

I'd think that during the Zombie Apocalypse it would be a good place to live during the very start. But then refuges would start coming in and bringing the Undead with them and you'd have to move.

They could use those cities to film apocalyptic movies as well. You know, like I am Legend, etc.
