How could the administration whiff on this? Seriously, he was a done deal and then they just let him go? It's clear that the people in charge don't care at all about Athletics. Fire them all and bring in a chancellor who actually gives two shits about sports and realizes that we need to make quality hires.

Unfortunately in many cases these guys use the threat of leaving simply to get raises where they're at. Not sure if that happened in this situation, but I find it odd that everything was supposedly done except for the signing of the contract, then suddenly the guy decides to stay.

Supposedly it was a done deal, and they even had the introduction worked out for Saturday.

Then, according to Fescoe, BGL jumped in at the last minute and tried to change his contract. So he decided to stay at Tulsa.
