  • Favorite Christmas Cookies

I need some inspiration. For as long as I can remember, I've pretty much made the exact same things every year. My holiday baking has consisted of: sugar cookies, gingerbread men, toffee, rum balls, oreo truffles, white chocolate key lime fudge (sounds weird but it is soooo ftw), and pretzels and marshmallows dipped in various chocolates. I have to keep the sugar cookies and gingerbread men for the kids, but am looking to change things up this this year. I've already made a batch of toffee and a new entry this year: dark chocolate peppermint cookies. But now I am tired of the other things and want to do something else.

So....give me your favorites so I can have some ideas.

Anybody have a good divinity candy recipe?
I loved that stuff and haven't had any good divinity in a long time.

My mom bakes an oatmeal chocolate chip that gets a peanut butter cup in the middle. Damn good and could cause me to put on 13 lbs in a day.

The step mom makes these red velvet sandwich cookies that are out of this world. Between my dad, my brother and I, she has a hard time keeping any on the counter top for more than five minutes.
