My brother-in-law passed away after an 8 year battle with ALS yesterday. We were with him to the end and he went peacefully. 41 years old (his 42nd birthday would have been next Friday) with 2 young girls. This is one horrific disease that robs you of everything but your mind and you are trapped in a failing body. He is in a much better place and he will be greatly missed by many.

Sorry to hear this Lime, my condolences as well. I lost 2 friends about a year ago to this awful disease. He is in a better place now and at peace. The last few years of this disease are one of the most awful things to witness. I really hope we can find a treatment or cure soon.Comment
