I just bought a new security camera for the theatre. Partially it is to monitor the lobby and partially it is to monitor employees. Will my employees take offense to this and think I'm trying to catch them stealing?

Any employees who are upset about it should probably quit and it would be a good thing. Employees who do their job reasonably well shouldn't care.

If I worked at a movie theater, I'd steal so much yellow popcorn than I'd barf. After the first week I'd never want movie theater popcorn again in my life.

Why would you care? Security cameras in retail establishments are commonplace. Any employee who has a problem with this shouldn't be working there anyway. This is complete no-brainer.

I always picture filmfanatic in chat while at work eating popcorn but he swears he doesn't eat it.

I don't have many vices in life but movie theater popcorn is one of them.
