  • Texas Women's Track Manager caught filming athletes

Pretty disturbing. You send your daughter out to UT on a scholly and you find out the manager has been filming them in the showers.

Oh stop being such a prude. You know it's the women's fault for taking showers there in the first place. Sheesh. :piitb:

"According to a police search warrant, the athlete turned to rinse her hair and spotted the lense of a camera pointed at her just above the curtain rod. She told police she was startled and screamed."

How is it that he wasn't caught before? It's not as if he was really being all that careful...

I wonder exactly how prevalent this sort of thing is. I bet it happens a lot more than what we hear about. It reminds me of a story I heard regarding a teacher in Southeast Kansas. Apparently he and his wife had a home tanning booth, which they let students use occasionally. Turned out that he had somehow rigged the thing and was taking pictures of girls in bikinis (or less). I would have thought that it would be fishy just that they were allowing students to use the thing...

If they didn't want to be filmed, why were they showering naked?

Come on, they were totally asking for it.

What a moron. It took the authorities four days to come get his computer. In that time, could he not find some lighter fluid and a book of matches?

Wouldn't that be destruction of evidence or something? I'm not a lawyer, but you'd figure that would lead to another charge.

You're probably right, though-- better to have a single count, rather than 10.

I'd break that thing into about a million pieces. It would then find its way to the local dump, by way of 10 different disposal units across the city. They wouldn't even know it existed.

What was the name of the movie where the kids invented an invisible goo and they went straight to the girls' showers?

What are the odds that this guy is a TSA employee?

I believe it was called "The Invisible Boy" starring the guy that was in "The Boy Who Could Fly." Christ, I can't remember his name. With shitty movie titles like that, where his character is just called "boy" who could?

I rewatched The Boy Who Could Fly recently. It was painful. That actor was also 'Bug' in Uncle Buck.
