It looks like they took function over form to the extreme and then added a few pieces of flare to make it look interesting. I wonder what architect drew this up, submitted it and then expected a call back? Gross.

Not defending it, it is HIDEOUS, but it only cost 44M pounds (~$75M), but is now worth ~$1B because of property values.
