ATO: WTH do I do in Branson for 4 days?

Well my parents are taking my siblings and I, plus our families, to Branson this weekend. I've never been to Branson. WTH am I gonna do there for 4 days with 2 kids under the age of 5? Advise we o wise Oread!

May I ask why? I went there as a kid and thought it was awesome. Went there as a college student and thought it was terribly lame. And I noticed all the WT that inhabited the place.

Branson is a hellhole. Get out of the trip now.

Branson's only about an hour drive from where I live in NWA.

Whitewater's a pretty decent water park and my 6 year old absolutely loves it.

Not so keen on SDC, but again, my son loves going and we bring some of his friends

I was there for a week a couple weeks ago.

I didn't go to Branson much, was planted on Table Rock most of the week. But they've got a decent shopping area called Branson Landing, on Lake Taneycomo. There's a fish hatchery down by the dam, with a little creek that feeds into the river which is cool, literally. There's outlet malls, the only good one is called Tanger, and it's just average.

I would try to get out on Table Rock somehow, if you're used to LOTO it'll blow you away, much much prettier.

A couple badass golf courses. I recommend Ledgestone at Stone Bridge. Lots of mini golf, go-karts and bumber boats, if your kids like that stuff.

Few women between the ages of 16-45 there.

If there is no way out of it, Silver Dollar City, White Water and Dixie Stampede lead the way for kids stuff. All in all though, Branson is what I picture hell to be like.

And I'll second the post above. If you can, rent a boat on Tablerock and take the fam out. It's low key and beautiful.
