  • Paul Rudd

Why doesn't he get more recognition in these famous Jayhawks threads?

Dude went to KU, grew up in Overland park...but I never knew it until I watched clueless again and noticed he wore a KU hat all the time...figured it had to be a personal touch, so wiki'd it

He also name drops Kansas City and Jayhawk friends in pretty much every movie he has made.

      Re: Paul Rudd

Speaking of Paul Rudd, apparently he used to be a floppy haired bat mitzvah dj.

Rob Riggle graduated from KU too. He was at a basketball game with Sudeikis last year.

            Re: Paul Rudd

I finally watched The Cider House Rules and thought, once again, Rudd is a fine actor. He's natural with comedy, but has some chops in drama as well. That's a rare combination. His star is certainly still rising.

I think Paul Rudd is good in everything he's in. However, he's dangerously close to falling into the Everyman Who Can't Get His Life Right typecasting trap. He plays these straight guy roles well, but as a lead man, he basically plays the same character in every movie, as of late.

exactly. It didn't occur to me, from I love you Man and Role Models until I saw your post, but in Dinner For Schmucks, all I could think is that he is the next Ben Stiller. Not to take anything away from him though. I enjoyed all three of these movies.
