Disney dilemma

So we're heading to Orlando on Friday to take the kids to Disney. We're staying at one of the Disney resorts, got the park hopper passes, yada yada yada...all that stuff is taken care of. Here's the dilemma: How the hell am I gonna get to play hide the weenie with the wife during this 9 day venture? I'm assuming the rooms are gonna be hotelesque, quite smallish with the beds side by side. The kids are 8 and 5 so I can't exactly just leave them at the pool for a while in the evening while Mom and Dad go "check on things" back in the room.

Am I limited to the quiet quicky in the bathroom if we happen to be lucky enough to wake up before them? Creative, useful ideas are appreciated. And one more thing, how sky-high are beer prices in Disney for anyone that's been?

007, you're probably right. I'm sure I'll be worn out most nights, but I can usually always muster enough strength to take a little pink cave tour.

Send the kids through Its A Small World.... then find a porta potty. Should have an easy 10 minutes which should be enough time for you and your sister to go at it a few times!

What resort are you staying at? Some of them have suite options. I've had pretty good luck asking for upgrades at Disney. You are going during a really slow time so you have that going for you.

If not, it's gonna be shower city for you two. Be forewarned that most all Disney resorts have the vanity outside the actual bathroom, thus the area within a locked door is REALLY small.

and it's Disney. There will be daycare like things where you drop your kids off for activities and the like.

Not sure which resort it is (the wife/cousin booked it), but I'm pretty sure it's not a suite. I'll have to check to make sure though. I'm glad you mentioned upgrades. I'll keep that in mind as well.
