It looks like ESPNU is getting into the social network gaming scene.

College Town

It looks a bit like SimCity circa 1998. Some of the stats cited in the article are a bit frightening: social network games are the number 2 internet activity, surpassing email.

haha....I feel dirty playing, believe me...but I'm pretty sure I killed all notifications so hopefully my bs won't be cluttering up the news feed

It's a bit addictive though...although if you need a bunch of friends to keep expanding the campus, I'll probably die out pretty quickly because I don't want to go adding a bunch of people

This game is a bit dumb...it seems when you do the math...there's no reason to buy the upper level residence halls...outside the admissions building....and if you do all basketball courts and dog shows, you'll be fine

I haven't done extensive math on it, but a quick look makes this appear to be a game where upgrades...outside school spirit....don't really matter
