You know, this has been a debate between myself and the woman I walk with. She insists that if I don't put the seat down she will "fall in" the next time she uses the facility.
Wheat women, is this normal? Do you not look at the toilet before you sit down? Do you enter the bathroom backwards? What gives? -

I always look at the toilet seat before I sit down. But only b/c my husband has a habit of not only putting the seat down but closing the entire lid. He has always done this. So I don't run the risk of "falling in", I run the risk of sitting my bare ass on a cold toilet seat lid.
I've never told my boys to put the seat up when they pee. I have a brother 10 years younger than me....when he was 2 and just nearly potty-trained, I was babysitting him and the seat fell down and smacked his little penis when he was going pee. I will never forget the screams....I had to call my mom back home b/c his member was all swollen and red. This moment has so scarred me that I just tell my kids to leave the seat down when they go. It makes for A LOT of extra cleaning on my part but I am ok with that. For now.Comment

I always put both the seat and lid down after I piss too. No idea why? I was never trained that way, as in a house with myself, my brother, dad and mom with multiple bathrooms it was never really an issue. And now with 2 bathrooms and and 2 other guy roommates living together I have started to put them both down. I think it comes from the fact that our toilet now has a rather violent flush that has quite the splash and backlash and I want the least amount of particles of shit possible covering everything else in the bathroom.Comment

Perhaps it is just me, but I can't drop a deuce at someone's house. I would rather find a public restroom (at a clean place like a QuickTrip) than drop trow at a friend's. So, with that thought, WHY ARE WOMEN CRAPPING AT YOUR HOUSE?!? Girls don't poop!Comment

I don't have any problem dropping bombs in other people's restrooms. I just time the flushing of the toilet with the bomb drop to hide the sound and eliminate any smell. I also work quickly so it's not obvious what I'm up to.Comment

Well, ICT, you gotta keep in mind, this is a hypothetical...I have no knowledge of female bomb dropping at my house (though I have little doubt that it's happened)....anyway I feel like this is just another double standard we're held to by women

I shit where I please, whether the seat is up or down (however infrequent it is). Sometimes it becomes a porcelain diaper as the lid is down too. live and learn, I always say.Comment
